Finland: A Poclain Certified Expert for Hydraulics Motors

Located in Turku, Finland, Hydrotek Oy is a hydraulic industry player, established in 2019. The company got the Poclain Hydraulics’ agreement for the maintenance of radial piston motors.

Hydrotek excels as a versatile expert partner in hydraulic solutions, particularly for heavy industries. The team was certified as the official Poclain Hydraulics Repair Center (CRC), responsible for the maintenance of Poclain radial piston motors in Finland. 

A significant aspect of this collaboration is the training and technical support provided by Poclain. During the audit, Poclain Hydraulics organized a multi-day training event for the Hydrotek expert staff. Representatives from our Poclain Hydraulics Training Center (PHTC) and Poclain's Finnish team were on-site, training the Hydrotek staff for several days in product technology and practical maintenance procedures.

A certified service partner of Poclain Hydraulics

The close cooperation started with Poclain Hydraulics complements Hydrotek's service concept so that customers can be served even more extensively.


“We are already familiar with their products. Now as an official partner, we can provide customers with service that meets factory standards in maintenance, and we also sell new components. Poclain Hydraulics is well-known for mobile hydraulic equipment, but there are many opportunities in various industrial applications, where high-quality products can be used. Poclain has recently introduced larger radial piston motors up to 40 liters in size with applications in both industry and the marine sector”, Rami Lehtinen envisions.

 

A significant aspect of this collaboration is the training and technical support provided by Poclain.

 

“We propose a wide range of services in our hydraulic workshop, like maintenance and project design. Additionally, we provide an efficient selection of hydraulic components and spare parts with fast delivery times. Our employees have years of experience in various industrial hydraulic applications - such as forestry market, energy industry market, other heavy industries, marine and mobile equipment,” says Ari Malmelin, CEO of Hydrotek Oy.

A flexible expert partner in heavy industrial hydraulics’ market

Hydrotek operates in modern facilities in Oriketo, Turku. And next summer, a new 500 square meter hall will be completed alongside, doubling their workspace, and enabling future growth. They manage shutdown maintenance in the field, as well as urgent troubleshooting and repairs with mobile service vehicles equipped with the necessary tools.


“Our core operations continue to revolve around maintenance services across Finland. We pride ourselves on offering rapid response times and top-tier professional service, coupled with high-quality products. Our dedicated maintenance workshop, equipped with test benches, allows us to tackle even the most challenging renovations. Beyond pumps and motors, we also handle the maintenance and repair of machinery, pressure accumulators and cylinders. Our mobile fleet, equipped with the latest tools, efficiently manages both scheduled annual maintenance and unplanned downtime emergencies. Currently, we have four service trucks in operation,” says Ari Malmelin.
